MP FIGHTS FOR PRH ON FLOOR OF HOUSE OF COMMONS

Speaking in the House of Commons yesterday, Mark Pritchard has called for an urgent Parliamentary debate on the Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Hospital Trust proposals close the A&E ward and paediatric unit at the Princess Royal hospital.

Mark Pritchard (The Wrekin) (Con): May we have an urgent debate on the proposals by the Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Hospital Trust to close the A and E ward and the paediatric unit at the Princess Royal hospital in my constituency? Is the Leader of the House aware of the size of the county of Shropshire and that if that closure goes ahead, the lives of the young and people of all ages will be lost as they are transferred to the west of the county?
